Welcome to Cup of Jōb Community Café
Cup of Jōb is a local Christian non-profit coffee shop that began as a simple idea—a proof of concept designed to provide sustainable support for Lifework Leadership First Coast while directly serving the Jacksonville community.
From the beginning, our mission has been clear:
To assist the homeless and offer employment opportunities to residents of the Beaches Rescue and Recovery Mission.
But within just a few weeks, something remarkable happened. What started as a small initiative quickly grew into a powerful movement—drawing people from all walks of life into a shared vision of generosity, service, and transformation. Cup of Jōb has become more than we ever imagined: a vibrant, volunteer-powered hub of hope, healing, and community.
More Than Coffee—It’s Community
Our shops are run primarily by volunteers who serve coffee, smoothies, pastries, and sandwiches—all with a warm smile and open heart. Through these simple acts of service, our team learns to love our community well. With flexible hours, a fun and encouraging atmosphere, and meaningful opportunities to connect, volunteering at Cup of Jōb is more than just donating your time—it’s about building lasting relationships, creating joyful memories, and being the hands and feet of Jesus in our city. We’ve seen how a simple cup of coffee can spark connection, ignite hope, and inspire change.
God is Moving in Jax Beach
Something special is stirring in Jax Beach, and we are filled with gratitude for everyone who has been a part of this journey. Our Miracle List keeps growing—and so does our faith in what’s possible. From our humble beginnings, we’ve now expanded to multiple coffee shop locations (Jax Beach, Murry Hill, Saint Augustine) and then mobile coffee trailer, Jōb on the Go, extending our reach and impact across the Jacksonville area.
