Get Involved with GRIT

There are many ways you can get involved.

Become a Table Coach

  • Must be a Lifework Leadership Alumni
  • Attend the GRIT Sessions and Monthly Volunteer Events
  • Engage with each student at your table during the sessions and outside of sessions
  • Read and familiarize yourself on all upcoming lessons

Become a Network/Promotion/Fundraiser Specialist

  • Promote GRIT program
  • Conduct fundraiser activities
  • Connect with schools, churches, and foster care system

Assist in GRIT program and coordination efforts

  • Create, maintain, and update database of all GRIT Alumni, donors, sponsors, and speakers
  • Coordinate venue for monthly sessions
  • Communicate with speakers via phone and email prior to each session
  • Communicate with attendees on all upcoming events
  • Organize planning dates
  • Assist with communication to GRIT students and parents
  • Assist the Director as needed with other administrative tasks

Assist in maintaining our social media pages

  • Create monthly newsletters
  • Posts upcoming activities on GRIT social media platforms
